Located in Jati Town, Shanti Nagar, the college operates as a private, self-financed, and non-profit establishment.The primary objective of the institution is to deliver high-quality, value-based professional training to aspiring educators in the region. It is officially recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Academic programs include a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree affiliated with Gauhati University and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) program under SCERT, Assam. Additionally, it offers standard undergraduate BA courses.The campus features essential infrastructure, including a well-stocked library, an information and communications technology (ICT) lab, an art resource room, a gymnasium, and dedicated sports fields. Admissions for the B.Ed. program are determined through the GUBEDCET entrance examination managed by Gauhati University.
