The NECTAR Drone School by EduRade is a Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)-approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) located in Assam. Launched in collaboration with NECTAR (North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach) and Jawaharlal Nehru College in Boko, it stands as Northeast India’s third and most affordable drone training facility. Key Highlights • Launch & Vision: Established to bridge the massive gap in certified drone pilots across India and neighboring countries like Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. • Inclusive Training: The historic first batch featured an all-female group of students from various northern states, championing women in tech. • Curriculum: Offers comprehensive, hands-on programs covering theory, flight simulators, emergency handling, and practical field flying. • Applications: Equips students for careers in agriculture, disaster management, surveillance, logistics, and media. • Certification: Graduates receive an official Remote Pilot Certificate to operate drones legally in India. |
