Mirana, the Princess of the Moon, is a prominent hero in Dota 2 and a central protagonist in the animated adaptation, DOTA: Dragon's Blood. Born as a blood princess next in line for the Solar Throne, Mirana willingly surrendered her royal claims and titles to dedicate herself completely to the service of Selemene, the Goddess of the Moon. As a fierce warrior and the ruler of the Nightsilver Woods, she rides her faithful night beast mount, Sagan, into battle. In the animated series, her journey begins when Selemene's sacred lotuses are stolen. Accompanied by her mute bodyguard and friend, Marci, Mirana embarks on a dangerous quest to retrieve them. Along the way, she crosses paths with the Dragon Knight, Davion, with whom she forms a deep romantic bond. Following a series of cosmic conflicts involving gods, dragons, and shifting realities, Mirana ultimately embraces her true heritage, ascending to become the God-Empress of the Sun in the Helio Imperium. |
